Google & Rich Snippets

Recently, I was noticing that certain sites had special listings in Google searches. For instance they had a category break down or breadcrumb of the page. I.E.  - "Buy > Hardware > Hammer > ABC Company Steel Hammer."

So with a little digging, I was able to find the following article on rich snippets:

http://www.google.com/support/webmasters/bin/answer.py?answer=99170

These rich snippets are not guaranteed to show in the search results, but gives us the chance to have much sharper looking Google search results.

I immediately wanted to implement this on my e-commerce site: ThePlasticBrick.com
